Orange and Spice Belgian Waffles with Tahitian Breeze Berry Compote

This light and airy breakfast will start your day off right!

Preheat waffle iron.

Heat four ounce water and steep Tahitian Tea for five minutes.
Remove tea bags and add sugar, berries and cornstarch and heat till it begins to boil and thicken.
Remove from heat and stir in zest and let cool.

In bowl combine flour, sugar and baking powder.
Steep milk with tea bags for about five minutes and let cool.
Make a well in center of flour and add milk, butter, vanilla and egg yolks and mix well and stir with dry ingredients until combined.  Whisk egg whites till stiff peaks form and fold into batter.

Pour batter into waffle iron according to manufacturers recommendation.

Cook till golden brown and serve with berry compote.
