Instructions
Heat milk, sugar and tea bags together and let steep for 10 minutes. Remove tea bags and squeeze out milk.
Mix together sugar, egg yolk, egg and starch.
Mix half milk mixture and sugar/egg mixture together and then return to pot of milk and bring to a boil stirring constantly with a high heat rubber spatula.
When milk thickens and boils remove from heat and stir in butter.
Put into heat resistant bowl to chill and cover with a thin layer of melted butter or plastic wrap to prevent a skin from forming.
