Bigelow Center for Senior Activities
Grasmere by the Park
Janus Center for Youth in Crisis

“Reflecting on the humble beginnings of the Bigelow Tea Community Challenge thirty-seven years ago, when just 50 participants raised $3,000, I am incredibly proud of how far we have come,” says Cindi Bigelow, third-generation president and CEO of Bigelow Tea. “Today, we’ve raised over $2.5 million for Connecticut charities in need. At Bigelow Tea, our mission has always been more than making a profit—it's about doing the right thing and giving back, a tenet instilled by my grandmother, Ruth Campbell Bigelow, when she founded the company 80 years ago and with my father, David C. Bigelow, as I watched him run this company with uncompromising ethics. This year we once again embrace these principles by organizing the annual BTCC event that welcomes athletes and families alike. It’s a day filled with community spirit, laughter, and joy. I warmly invite everyone to join us on September 29th!”
